Enoteca Sociale Logo

Enoteca Sociale is a traditional Italian wine-bar in Toronto. Every aspect of the logo design was focused on communicating Sociale’s commitment to authenticity. The lettering is based on the Italian modern serif style of font developed in the late 18th century. The texture plays off of the well worn blue and white gingham tablecloths commonly found in a traditional Italian Sociale. The hand rendering reinforces the artisanal rustic nature of the restaurant, while the peculiar line-breaks aid in the phonetic pronunciation of the words.

Enoteca Sociale Website

Enoteca Sociale is the sister restaurant to Pizzeria Libretto in Toronto. The website was built on our highly successful platform for Libretto, building on the existing brand’s established trust while differentiating this new but related offering. The website design plays heavily on the colours and textures found in rustic “sociales” across Italy, with the traditional blue and white gingham table cloths, cream coloured walls, and warm brown stained wood framing. Within weeks of launch, our search engine optimization saw the Enoteca Sociale website ranked as the #1 Google search result for many of their key marketing words and phrases.

Enoteca Sociale

Enoteca Sociale is an authentic Italian wine-bar bringing daily house-made pasta with inspiration from classic Roman cuisine, la cucina della nonna (Grandma’s cooking) to Toronto. The design is a contemporary mix of elements from the traditional Italian "Sociale" and the traditional Italian "Enoteca" (Wine Library).
