NHL ’94 Remastered

NHL '94: 202x Edition is a series of unauthorized & unlicensed modernizations of the original classic 1994 game for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. This goes way beyond updating the teams and rosters for the current year. Hundreds of visual elements were remastered for digital screens, gameplay was re-balanced for a more realistic and contemporary feel, and hundreds of small additions were made to the graphic presentation, while remaining true to the spirit of the original. All of this was done within the Sega’s 16-bit constraints. The included image comparisons show the original on the top/left, and the remastered on the bottom/right.
